  1. Having read straight through chapt 1 till present: Series strikes me as an early, tamer, girly version of NHK ni Youkuso. feels like the original homely charm possessed by protag/story is somewhat losing as art and plot progresses. a bit worrisome. Liked the first chapters, really did, T coming to grips with maturity or lack of it and whatnot – clever and true it felt. introducing a new rival character relives the pressure and threat the rival world just recently posed to T. a shifting of focus. will continue being a coming of age manga, but sharing seats is going to not leave much left of what was of old T, I fear.

  2. I for one like the recent mini-arc. Believe me, I like the awkward tomoko situations too, thats what got me into the series, but if the mangaka is going to throw in a random side arc with komiyama, im fine with that. Instead of it trying to tie in to the side story, it seems more like the side story was a way to introduce komiyama to the main plot.

  3. Wow, these last two or three chapters have been simply unrecognizable as Watamote stories.
    What happened? H
How and why did this author suddenly decide, “you know, this series could really use a superfluous third character to tie into the spinoff series, and why not throw her in to an unfunny love triangle/Mean Girls ripoff scenario so we can at least move the non-existent plot forward, at the cost of abandoning the the same quirky, episodic structure that made the series a hit?”

    • Myself, I think the last three chapters have been the most interesting in over a year, and I hope we’ll be seeing more of Komi-something-san.

    • There were enough straightforward signs to where it is going.
If they manage to show development of certain feelings the same uncompromising way, we’ll have a double great manga.

I’m glad that the series is at last going somewhere. It needed some kind of twist.

  4. The Murakami novel isn’t “The Norwegian Forest”, but “Norwegian Wood”, after the Beatles song. It uses “mori” which means “forest” instead of wood as a material, but that itself is a translation mistake.

This was a pretty good comedy chapter but I’m going to miss the melancholy elements of the series if they never return.

    • Who should I use then? Mediafire who shut down my account after collecting $200 from me and then banning me for hosting a chapter of Monmusume? Or some ad riddled host? I’m sorry if some have issues with Mega, it’s not perfect, but I’m never touching mediafire personally.

        • Bah, 4 years ago they tried to lift $200 from me 7 times – DENIED bitches. Use those prepay cards. They can’t get what isn’t there.

      • For long term storage, make a rolling complete torrent of releases once in a while (maybe twice-thrice a year).
For immediate download, try rghost.net. 50 MB limit is enough for manga chapters, 30 day since last download storage time is enough providing there is a stable “tail” of downloaders collecting older releases (before they are included into the torrent). No waiting time, no captchas, even a free option to disable ads, anonymous comment system tested and approved by Russian users as rghostchan. Don’t know about the copyright enforcement, though.

  5. Thanks for chapter, as always. Kinda odd that the last few chapters have a running plot, but it’s actually really enjoyable so I’m fine with the change. Kinda depressed when I saw that next chapter was 10/17 :( why is she taking month breaks every couple chapters, I mean the anime is pretty much done

    • Well the mangaka have three separate series now — this, the spin-off and a 4-koma called Number Girl about clones trying to learn individuality — so they may be overwhelmed. If it means fewer five page chapters, I’m all for it, though really I’d prefer if they ditch the spin-off.

I don’t care if their developers got Chrome Disease that prevents them from providing any long-term support for any decent browser or have only been working in Flash until now. I am certainly not installing new Opera™® skin®™ for Chromium™®, I can’t use their site, it is their problem.

My problem is that I can’t get your file (without unnecessary irritation).

There is also a mediafire feed without recent updates in your link list.
